On The Ground

Pool removal service areas.

Twenty-seven communities across four counties. Rather than publish a coverage blob, each area below has its own page naming the department that issues your permit — because in this region that is genuinely different from one street to the next.

A Sacramento backyard where a pool used to be, now an open level lawn.

Where do you remove pools in the Sacramento area?

Short answer

We remove pools across 27 communities in four counties: Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado and Yolo. Each area page names the exact building department that issues a demolition permit there, because 12 of these communities are unincorporated and permit through a county rather than a city.

12 of these 27 communities are unincorporated. There is no City of Carmichael, no City of Granite Bay, no City of El Dorado Hills — they permit through Sacramento, Placer and El Dorado counties respectively. It is the most common thing people get wrong before they start, and it is the first thing each area page settles.

Guys’ Note

Distance is rarely the problem. Access, disposal run and which desk you file at — those are the problem.

Next step

Ready to find out what your property needs?

A site walk is where an accurate scope starts — access, shell type, depth, utilities and what you want the ground to do afterwards.

What Decides It

What makes a job local.

Distance is not really the question — a straightforward removal forty minutes out can be an easier job than a tight one across town. What actually decides it is access, disposal distance and which building department the property falls under.

Access.

How equipment gets into the backyard, and how trucks stage on the street. On some lots this is the entire cost conversation.

Disposal.

How far material has to travel once it is loaded, and what the diversion requirements are where you are.

Jurisdiction.

Which department handles the permit, what they require for a pool demolition, and whether they publish anything specific to pools at all.

Where We Work

Local ground. Straight answers.

Four counties, four sets of permit desks, and ground that changes from valley alluvium to weathered granite inside an hour's drive. We work here, so the plan you get accounts for the ground you actually have and the department that actually has jurisdiction.

27 communities across 4 counties, each with its own page naming the department that issues your demolition permit. If your address sits near a jurisdiction line, send it over and we will tell you which side you are on.
  • Permit coordination

We prepare and coordinate the paperwork with your local building department. What they decide is theirs; the legwork is ours.

  • Debris leaves with us

Demolished shell material and spoils are loaded and hauled off the property, not buried in the hole or left in a pile.

  • Documented final grade

Approved fill placed and compacted in lifts, finished to a graded surface — and written down, so you can show it later.

Check Your Address

Not sure if you are in range?

Send the property address. If it sits near a jurisdiction line, we will confirm which building department covers it before the site walk.
